Thordon Bearings, part of the Thomson-Gordon Group founded in 1911 and based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada, makes long-life polymer bearings that run without oil or grease. Its seawater-lubricated propeller shaft systems, shaft seals, rudder and deck equipment bearings are used on merchant ships, naval vessels, ferries, tugs, workboats and yachts.
