NCB Shaft Sleeves

Nickel-Chrome-Boron hard-coated shaft sleeves that protect tail shafts and rudder stocks and extend shaft and bearing wear life by as much as 4 to 5 times.

NCB alloy coating resists abrasion and corrosion.

58 to 62 Rockwell "C" hardness also extends bearing life.

Supplied finished-bore, ready to shrink fit, or rough-bore for machining.

The fused area of the sleeve is undercut and thermally coated with Nickel-Chrome-Boron powder, then heat treated.
